    Astronomy photography

Had an email yesterday from NASA asking permission to upload one of my pictures to their web site. Had an email this morning saying its posted as Astronomy Picture of the Day.
You can view it here if you are at all interested

A different astronomy and space science related image is featured each day, along with a brief explanation.

    Cheers

Very well done James... for NASA to approach you must have been quite exciting! It's great to have your work recognised, and the shot is certainly worthy of being displayed... very impressive.

                Well done again, Mike.

Stunning image. Was in Iceland earlier this year but didn't get to this area. Most people don't realise how big Iceland is and the large distances you need to travel.

Congratulations James. That's a beautiful image you have produced. We are heading to Iceland in a couple of weeks time. First up is a few days in Reykjavik then we'll be walking the Landmannalauger trail followed by a few days in the Snaefellness area so hoping to get a shot of this myself but I know it won't come anywhere near to yours.
