    Christchurch Priory

    This is a shot I took a couple of years back and my entry into a competition organised by the Christchurch Guild of Photographers, the subject being the Priory, inside or out. I didnt think it would stand any sort of chance as its more just a glimpse of the priory but the judges must have thought different as it was shortlisted in the top six and a print displayed at the Christchurch and District Arts fair yesterday and won second prize. So pleased but disappointed for Dee, who i thought had a much stronger entry

                  but I too am baffled having looked at Dee's :)
                  they probably thought it was just a "standard" shot and maybe they did not like the modern buildings in the foreground.
