For a long time I have heard of BBF ( Back Button Focus ). I have been told if I switch to BBF then I would end up with more shots to keep. On my 70D I have been trying to get it switched over to BBF but as I am clueless I keep mucking it up, so could one of you please tell me what buttons I need to press to set up BBF. Thank you

Not sure in itself it contributes to a higher keeper rate, but I guess if it makes things easier or more comfortable that may generate more keepers.Andy

Re: I NEED HELP 70D
It makes life easier for tracking b.i.f ,planes, racing cars etc but ensure you have focus locked on and all tracking menus set correctly to .actually took mine off this morning and cleared all my settings from the camera ,re.checked the lens with the USB hub after a dire day yesterday ,
Then I glanced at the camera and it dawned on me I still Had left it in one shot etc set up for macro on Sunday oops another senior moment .
Spent the rest of the day re-setting everything back ,did manage to find some good setting tips for b.i.f from the canon USA site to ,will try out Tuesday and update if working to plan

Personally I wouldn't as AI servo will allow the shutter to release even if the subject is not in focus. The normal setting only allows shutter release with focus confirmed. It does depend on what you principally shoot - I imagine that Jeff shoots mostly nature and wildlife and so leaving it in AI Servo and only changing if necessary, makes sense. If you shoot principally stationary subjects I would say better to stick to the normal mode.Nigel
