Sunrise / sunset / moon apps

    Hi guys

Can anyone recommend any good apps for this, please.
Mainly thinking for the upcoming supermoon.

    Cheers

Agree, a 'must have' app for anyone into landscapes.

I use Sun Surveyor I guess it does the same thing. Time, direction, Sunrise, sunset, blue gold hours, moon state, milky way, live maps and a camera overlay. The Lite version is free, I liked it so bought the full one. It's actually higher rated than TPE, not sure why.

The basic moon/sunrise/set information is on a useful free app for when near the coast that I have on my phone - Tide Times. Downloaded from Playstore or something. Uses your phone's knowledge of where you are to tell the tide times and heights close to you. In the Midlands at the moment so it tells me high tide at Sharpness Docks is at 14.20, sadly 56 miles away.....

TPE has quite a few In-App purchases listed. Can it be used successfully without these or is the basic functionality limited to the point of frustration?

You don't need the in app extras. It works fine without them.
