Isolation advice (tongue firmly in cheek)

I read recently that in order to have greater inner peace we should always finish things that we have started - and let's face it, we could all use more calm in our lives right now.

So I looked round the house for things that I had started, but not finished and I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of Chardonney, a bodle of Baileys, a butle of wum, tha mainder of Valiumun srciptuns, an a box a chocletz.

You haf no idr how fablus I feel rite now.

Sned this to all who need inner piss. An telum u luvum an two hve a Marry Izolashun.

Great - love it good laugh in these depressing times.

I was asked last night by the wife if I was going to sit there and drink the bl.......y bottle. She was referring to the bottle of Port I had just opened - I do like my Port and Rum. Having been in a certain service where Port was the order of the day and the Rum Tot when we went afloat. There was a toast for each day of the week, the one I remember best, the Saturday toast - 'To Sweethearts and Wives may they never meet'

I see you have not managed to finish the cider, is that on tap or all gone?

It is being carefully stored and savoured - I wish I had made more last year and will certainly do so this autumn if the apple crop is large enough.
