    My first MilkyWay attempt

I know I'm by no means even remotely close to some of the milky way shots in the forum, but, I felt a sense of achievement by photographing a shot that vaguely looks like the milky way, for the first time..Please don't be too harsh..ha ha ha...but, I do like constructive feedback..

    Taken on Canon 6D with 16-35 F/4 @ F/4 and about 19mm, 27 second exposure, ISO 6400

I’ve never tried anything like this before so you’ll get no criticism from me – I think that’s a great image Andrew!

Hey Tony...Thank you mate..To be honest, its one of them types of shot that I've never "really" tried to do before this. I spend a lot of time out at night with the camera, and if I'm in a dark enough area, i'll fire a few shots off, but never managed to capture anything, hence feeling a little chuffed with getting this..

Hey Lunarbo, Thank you...In essence, yes mate. As I've just said above, I've not "really" tried before...glad I did..Will be having another go next month when the moon is hidden away again..

That's a lovely image, Andrew. Particularly for a first effort. Been meaning to have a go myself for ages but never got around to it. Maybe now.
