      Yes some great texture there and, for me, it works really well as an abstract As a picture of a tree I can see Tigger's point.

            Perhaps a little too heavy in the shadows, the picture is about detail and texture but the shadows are so deep, especially top left that your lose both quite badly - worth trying to lift them a little I feel.

            I'd also be inclined to lose the distant reality on the right side and go for something almost entirely abstract to emphasize the texture etc. even more strongly.
