d'ya know, I think that is quite nice. not the most photographed of flowers are they, but the petals seem to lend really well to the B&W format. I think I might crop a little more off the top, but it works well this I think.

Thanks. With out the bright yellow colour I think they look like small chrysanthemums.
Know what you mean about taking some off the top, I looked at it earlier on my phone and it loaded from the bottom of the picture (weird technology) I got the feeling then, that it would be better if it ended, before it ended.

Gone back and had another look at the crop on this.
Trying a more square crop, some of the top and also a little of the bottom as trying to keep the flower to the bottom of the frame as suggested.
