    Haddo Loch

One from last weeks Camera Club outing to Haddo House, an NTS property in Aberdeenshire.
This is 3 bracketed images processed in Photomatix so I suppose you can call it an HDR

Mike, it is very good and perfectly done in HDR. I would have not know if you have not mentioned it.

This is lovely... colours are spot on... unrecognisable as HDR... but in my opinion that is the way it should be.

            Re: Haddo Loch

I agree with the other comments re HDR. Its been getting a bad press recently because the effect is taken to extremes, but its a great way to extend the dynamic range when done properly, as in this case.

              Thanks Alistair
I quite like HDR images - apart from the grungy overcooked ones.
I went out a while ago without my Lee Grads so I took bracketed shots to blend together in CS3.
I also tried Photomatix and was pleased with the results so I use this formula quite often now to extend the DR

                Hi Sam

Again, I wouldn't have know if you hadn't mentioned.
Much prefer your 2nd shot with the light over the trees.
