    Loch Ba, Rannoch Moor

Rannoch Moor (Scottish Gaelic: Mòinteach Raineach/Raithneach) is a large expanse of around 50 square miles (130 km²) of boggy moorland to the west of Loch Rannoch, in Perth and Kinross and Lochaber, Highland, partly northern Argyll and Bute, Scotland. Rannoch Moor is designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and a Special Area of Conservation.
The A82 road crosses through Rannoch Moor on its way to Glen Coe and Fort William.

Great sky, I remember driving along that road to Fort William a number of years ago and wishing that I had filled up with fuel before setting out as when I got to Fort William I was running on vapours.

Beautiful part of the world, well captured.

Great moody shot Mike, bet it would look good as a dark B&W also.

I love Rannoch Moor, spent many happy hours tramping through the early morning/late afternoon snow looking for shots.

I used the A82 many times while visiting my brother on the Isle of Skye, this image has brought back fond memories, and is well captured too.
