    River North Esk

This was taken from Gannachy Bridge near Edzell on a recent Autumn trip.
A great location at any time of year but especially so in Autumn

    Great colours Mike,

I have scrolled the pic up and down and wonder if a square crop, to just under the "puddle" on the right bank would look better, I am not sure that anything below that, with the still water, really adds anything.

Just my own opinion, feel free to ignore of course

    Regards Paul

      Re: River North Esk

I do like the colours and the way the sunshine hits the trees on the right. I'd take a little off the bottom and some off the left to keep the portrait style. This would make the river flow into the bottom left corner and emphasize the small amount of diagonal. Again just me, feel free to ignore.

Nice as it is but plenty of scope for tactical crops.

Works for me, and I think the crop suggested by Paul would be good also.

I have tried the suggested crop from Di and have to admit that it does improve the shot a tad
