George, I usually make panoramas with my 24-70mm on, but this sounds like something I need to try.

Very nice atmospheric shot, I would think it would look great as a poster print

Really cool colour layers and lovely composition.

            Very nice atmospheric shot.

As said above, right place, right time, but also right skill-set for seeing the shot, and getting it right. Well done.

            All the best, Mike

A cracking picture James. Can I ask what time of day and was it taken from the Tenbury road. I know the area well from many years of pedalling my bike up and down the lanes round Clee.

                  Hi DP
Taken at 9am as the sun was still pretty low in the sky. If you go across Clee Hill from Bewdley towards Ludlow then it was taken on the top of the hill from about mid spot on that top road - handheld shot from the roadside. I had seen this view before when I had only a standard lens with me and noted that it would make an interesting shot on a foggy morning with a telephoto lens. Hope that helps you.

Very often the route to a good photo. See something with promise, consider the lighting conditions, time of day, time of year and the equipment to capture it.

Very often the result is a winning shot, as it is here.

I'm personally a big fan of the three P's approach to photography. That is :- Planning, Persistence and Patience.

Thanks James. That is a super viewpoint but I don't think I can ever remember looking down on Knowle. The view across the Teme Valley to the Malverns tends to drag your eyes to it - your 3 P's certainly worked
It looks as though I ought to get my 'cycle clips' on early and get up there if its misty in Kidderminster as Clee village very often sits above the mist.
