    Glencoe, Scotland

Going through my old images (trying to get a slideshow together) the other night, came across these images from 2006 I'd not processed. So had a relook at them.

What a fantastic set, really nice colours. I'd love to spend some time traveling round Scotland, it looks such a beautiful part of the uk.

Great set, but #3 is the stand out shot for me, but I'd crop a little more off the bottom, to bring the mountain ridge onto the bottom third.

        Superb.

        All the best, Mike.

Wonderful pic's Les, I have to agree with Mike, 3 is just superb and I too think you could afford to crop some off the bottom, just a personal thought of course.

Fantastic Les, as usual superb shots!

Agree with pelliott although I like the way the turbulence in the water at the bottom kind of has the same shapes as the sky, it's a little distracting from the rest of the shot.
Sorry I've not been around much. Sadly the ankle surgery and carpal tunnel surgery have both been unsuccessful, so have to wait and see what happens next. I hope to be shooting a lot more in the future!

                Re: Glencoe, Scotland

Thanks for the crop suggestion (Paul, Mike & gav), at first I didn't think it would work, as it would pull the left rock (in water) too near the edge, but when I've tried a crop it does work, and it does mean the mountain ridge sits more comfortably in the frame- Thanks

I would maybe brighten the first and second image, but would not change the the third image, I know it's a fair reflection of what you saw in Glencoe when you took the image, and I don't see any benefits of changing it
