    The Tree on the Hill

I had a ride out this afternoon, looking for inspiration.

It works very well, because it is simple, well composed and just a little definition in the snow. Well done Andy.

Thank you. I'm not convinced about the added border?

The border-less version and a BW too.

A definate less is more shot!

I think I would prefer a border, just not the dark grey. May be a line and white border?

Great shot. I like the B/W version and i would echo DeeGee with the border.

Just for fun, here's the tree on google maps (centred)

A different border as suggested (thank you).

Without a border and in colour is bang on the money. Love the shot - simple / artistic and a photo you just have to keep coming back to.

Super shot and great composition Andy, it works for me in colour or mono, very well done.

                            Nicely seen Andy.
The border shows that you care about presentation and stops the image bleeding into the background.

Nice shot Andy with exposure spot on,Borders are a very personal thing i usually place a small black border(about4px) around most of my images on this forum just to separate from the bright white background of this forum.
