A moody morning

Taken on the Rio Maranon at 5.30 in the morning. It started with what was a regular very colourful sunrise and then the mist rolled in and made the atmosphere very moody, which I think I prefer.
Would appreciate your comments.

I prefer the second. Graceful muted colours and some sharpness, which the first shot lacked.

The first one has nice colours in it but detail is lost in the shadows and your camera is at an angle to the horizon, maybe could have been altered in pp.

I prefer the second, It's amazing how different lighting and mist has totally changed this shot
