    Lindisfarne Castle

I went up to Berwick for a few days and ventured across to Holy Island where I shot this.
I've tried giving this a pictorial feel.
Let me know what you think.

        Thanks Stephen & Nathaniel.

Holy island is quite a spooky place, if you don't time your journey your stuck there.
The only road to it is across the sea and when it's high tide the road is covered.
I'm sure there are many tales and ghosts.

              Re: Lindisfarne Castle

Chris a very good image which I really like. Just a suggestion as this is a pictotial image, I would crop a little off the LHS to remove the drop off from the rocks at the base of the castle and then tone the bright part of sky down which then touches the border to match the dark moody sky to take away the bright spots on the edge of the image thus focussing on the castle.

                Hi Chris

Thats a very impressive picture! I was taken with a castle image in the end of year comp, both that pic and yours prove that these structures really do need shadow and mood(early or late light) or editing effects to make them pop!
