    Rhyl- the "Blackpool "of North Wales. April 2013

    With the weather being bright and sunny, I went out yesterday to explore the once "famous" Rhyl Promnade. All taken with the Canon 60d with Sigma 15-30mm lens exif AV f8, TV 100, ISO 400, AWB

    (ii) the boats "rotting away"

      I have many childhood memories of Rhyl with Sunday School trips and family days out. Thanks for the nostalgia, Nat.

        Nice set Nat, lovely colours, nice and clear too.

        2 and 5 are my favourites.

          Thanks Tom,Ian and Paul. I am glad that the pics brought back memories to you Ian. I never saw it in it's heyday. I intend going across the water front and hope to bring some other memories of Rhyl's glory days!

            Where's the tower, trams, lights, fun fair and kiss-me-quick hats?

            Those are very nice images, sharp and colourful.
            That Sigma 15-30mm f/3.5-4.5 EX DG lens is a great performer in your hands.

              Thanks Stephen. I will take the shots of the Tower at in part two. The Sigma lens is a very good one & little known to members, but thanks to Mickledore I went for it. No regrets at all. There is no vignetting with the lens hood on a crop body but on a FF I must remove the detachable part of the lenshood if I go down to 15mm.
