    Bishopthorpe Palace

This is the rear view of Bishopthorpe Palace, along the river Ouse near York. Unfortunately I had trouble with the blown out sky.

Ok, as the image is, the subject is the river in front of the palace and the two shimmers and the width of the river, tends to lead the eye up stream bast the place. I would be tempted to dodge the palace a bit to brighten it and burn the one shimmer the leads up stream a bit, so that the eye moves toward the palace. Just my opinion, feel free to ignore.

Tom, thanks for the suggestions, I'd completely forgotten about dodge and burn!

        Looks quite serene Andy.

Thanks Bill. I need to re-visit when the sky is a bit more favourable.
