    Fritch's in HDR

For today's images I went to Bethlehem and took these images of Fritch's along the Canal.

    Both images I used a EOS-M w/EF-M 22mm f/2 set to Aperture Priority @ f/3.5, ISO 100

    1st Image

This image is made from 5 images from 1/800 sec to 1/15 sec

2nd Image was taken 6 steps to the right of the 1st image

This image is made from 4 images from 1/160 sec to 1/25 sec

Both images were processed in LR & HDR Efex Pro 2

Some lovely tones and colours in there Tom, but as with most HDR programs, the greens are over saturated.

Extremely clever, beautiful colours etc and a surreal quality that made me question for a moment, if they were indeed photographs!

Lovely shots Tom, I really like the reflections from the still water, agree with Colin though ref the greens, could just do with toning down a tad.

          Thanks Colin, Alun & Paul.

Here they are with the trees slightly desaturated:

Tom, lovely images and really interesting processing as always. In terms of composition and lighting I slightly prefer the bridge being central - to my mind it is a more interesting focus than the silos (?) and the reflected sunlight on the silos is more pronounced. My first instinct was to prefer the slightly more naturalistic effect of the de-saturated greens, but then again if you are going to do HDR, why not give it some zing? So on reflection () I'll vote for image no 1.

No 1 for me Tom, the fence is a pleasing lead in to the central reflection and bridge.

                    Re: Fritch's in HDR

For some reason I can't see the very first image. But I do like the one where there is more a view of the bridge in the photo. Have to say the water with the reflection of the sky reflecting in both really adds to both images.

                    Hope that makes sense.

                        Looks good Tom.
Out of the 2 sets i think i prefer the first. I'm with Di, i like the reflection on the water that sky looks amazing.
