    Lacey Green Windmill

This windmill is a couple of miles from where I live.
It was restored by volunteers over a number of years from a state whereby it had started to twist and collapse.
Before WWII it was leased by two elderly London school teachers who used it at weekends to bring children from their school out to the countryside.

Sorry I posted the wrong sized image... far tooooo large.
I have tried to edit the post with a new slightly smaller image and more text but when I try to save the edit I receive a message saying that my message has to be at least 5 characters which is crazy as I am also trying to add a full paragraph.

Large or not David, great shot, crystal clear, dramatic sky suits B&W. Good line with the fence too.

Looks very dramatic, works a treat in BW.

                      Hi Ian,
It is a real time warp inside and a museum to what windmills did across Buckinghamshire. The Chiltern Society now own the Windmill and I am sure the couple who collect the £2 entry and the old guy who gives the talk were around when it was originally built.
