    Entering into a BW World

While looking for a location for images for my blog, I stopped at bridge number 5 on the Lehigh Valley Covered Bridge Tour. This bridge was built in 1860.

The sky was a dull gray and the time was noon so the lighting was flat. So I did a series of 6 images, chose 4 of them to create this HDR image of crossing from a would of color to a world of Black & White

Is it only me that can't see a photo?

Sorry Tom. I can't. Wonder if anyone else can.

the original is there for me

Good subtle use of a reverse colour pop

Very subtle and well done Tom.

For what it is worth I can see all of these posts and images but the images for your hotrod post were not showing for me last night but for some strange reason they are showing now. I have had similar issues with some of the posts from Brian Squibb as well,

Concept is brilliant Tom, just not sure this shows it to its best effect, trying to get the right location could prove to be very difficult, definitely worth looking for and doing though.

Re: Entering into a BW World

Tom, great idea. My thoughts, for what they are worth, are that if you hadn't drawn my attention to the change through the bridge I don't think I would have spotted it. Clearly the concept is that the world is only black and white if you enter via the bridge, but I just wonder if it would help the viewer to extend this and make all of the greenery on the other side in mono, perhaps graduating along the length of the bridge.
Hope I'm not sounding critical - I love your sense of mischief and experimentation.
