    This is Langdale

Yesterday, my eldest son Peter and I both had the day off and we wanted to make the most of it. We both enjoy the beauty and the calmness of the Lake District and this was our opportunity to spend some quality time together. It was a shame that my youngest son David and my wife Jill couldn't join us too.

Thanks Tom, I have to say that I'm really pleased with this one. Jill tells me it's going above our fireplace.

You have to view the flckr version to really appreciate this, pushing the 5DIII pixels to the max, it really is quite superb, and excellent use of light.
Concentrate on equipment and you'll take technically good photographs. Concentrate on seeing the light's magic colours and your images will stir the soul. - Jack Dykinga
Light makes photography. Embrace light. Admire it. Love it. But above all, know light. Know it for all you are worth, and you will know the key to photography- George Eastman

Actually one of the best pictures I've seen this year. If I took that, and was killed tomorrow, I'd die a happy photog. Stunning work.
