Great colours Sam - looks superb on Flickr ! Nice to see the 70D (+ kit lens) living up to expectations. Was this hand held?

Love the warmth in this image, and that golden treeline provides a good anchor.

                  Cheers Folks

It is indeed a stunning area with photo opportunities at every turn.
Theres already been snow on the hills Dave - not sure if Ben Vrackie has had a dusting yet though.
When travelling to Pitlochry, I normally take the "Scenic" route - Aberdeen, Braemar, Glenshee, Kirkmichael, Pitlochry.
I stopped on the Glenshee road to let the dog out for a run around and this was the view of the Cairngorms from the Carpark (11/10/2013)

I've had the EFs 15-85 for a couple of years now and find it to be a nice, well built lens capable of great results.
I've yet to use my "L" lenses on the 70D
