    Clachnaben & Scots Pine

    A view over to Clachnaben (the one with the sticky out bit at the summit) from the slopes of Scolty Hill, a wee hill in Royal Deeside just south of the town of Banchory.

      The Caledonian Forest once covered a vast area but nowadays relics of the original Forest remain so this could well have been part of the forest.
