Quite like that one Stan, but can't decide if it's TOO symmetrical! Did you do any off-centre ones for comparison? Really nice perspective you've caught regardless, and that sky makes it for me!

The idea for the shot was to get down low and symmetrical - to shoot that view I think would have looked a bit odd off centre. I did take one from the left though, on the beach and looking down the length

Agree with you that the first works best, Stan. It's a really lovely image . Love the colours. We had the same mackerel sky up here yesterday and I even looked at it longingly as I walked to Tescos for my lunch sandwich but, a. I didn't have my camera with me, and b. the west London skyline is no-where near as photogenic.

I like both Stan. The reflection of the jetty in the second is very nice, but I prefer the 1st for the symmetry
