    Wait for the Light

    Last week visited Bristol and saw this bridge from the M5. When I arrived it looked dreary but I could see the light appearing from the sea to the west. Set up the 7D on the tripod and had a sandwich and waited for the light. Sometimes a little patience pays off.

      Re: Wait for the Light

      I like the composition and light on the cable stays.
      But the image is maybe a tad too dark, a bit more contrast between the sky and the sun light on the cables would help if possible.

          Nice composition Ian, given the previous comments, I had a play with a levels layer in PS your image comes up well. Give it a go and you will see an improvement.

            Agreed; you can drag the Whites way back... add a little Brightness & Contrast and voila... you'll see a far better image IMO...

            Cheers;
