    I really am going to have to get back there and try to use those steps more creatively. Maybe an evening with the setting sun on them (and I won't have to get up so early )

          If these were mine, I'd be cropping like Mr Cropper who crops a lot. #1 I'd crop the rhs to the edge of the walkway, #2 the bottom up to the steps on the walkway, #5 I'd try losing the marina and the top of the sky, zooming in to the sun and ferris wheel.

            I do plan a return as so much is happening and visible from just that one viewpoint there's lots of scope for trying different lenses and compositions.
