May the Force be with you!

I had a trip around Teesdale the day before yesterday. I thought you may like to jump on the trip bus and see the views for yourself, enjoy.

Should you wish to see the Exif either right click on an image, or follow the link to my Flickr photostream.

For clarity as I understand it, Force may have it's origins in the Norse language (Foss/Force = waterfalls, rapids e.g. Thornton Force, Falling Foss etc.)

    #1 Summerhill Force version one.

#2 Summerhill Force Version 2, just for those who consider milky water to be Marmite

    #3 Low Force

#4 High Force, sadly my walking between the various locations meant that I arrived at High Force too ate to capture the falls in sunlight

Yes the first does have a Marmite texture to it!!

Nicely done Peter. Like the brown in the water of the third shot adding to the Autumnal feel.

'full fat milk' shots I don't like, but yours is more like semi skimmed , very nice indeed.

#2 is preferable for me, to #1. The blurred foreground water in #1 looks just a wee bit out of focus, possibly because of the shutter speed, as the central rock seems sharp enough.

                      Well done!
