Whitby Abbey - black and white

There appears to be a lot of 'bird' postings at the moment so I thought I’d add a landscape – a building at least. This is a B&W conversion of a shot of Whitby Abbey from New Year. Hope you like it.

the vignetting seems a tad heavy for me - otherwise it works well

Thanks Ian - I was trying to draw the eye to the building, but you may be right.

I did a little - but I'm not sure if the Abbey is actually leaning, it's been there a while

Nice, Tony. hasn't changed much - I've got a print by the Victorian photographer in Whitby - Frank Sutcliffe. Have a look at -

My print doesn't have the man and was at a slow shutter speed as a cow's tail is moving and blurred.
                        Cheers, Chris.

I went into a that gallery Chris when I was in Whitby but don't remeber seeing that print. You're right it hasn't changed much. Thanks for the link.

Nice, but more reflection, if available, would have made it good. Perhaps a squared off crop of a portrait mode pic?
