    how the weather changes

    took the camera on a family walk this afternoon, didnt expect to shoot much as the fog was really thick but as we climbed to this point the sun appeared, within 5 minutes the cloud had decended and that was it.its worn the kids out wading through the deep snow on the north face of the roaches. cheers for looking

        cheers guys, the kids loved it as the snow was almost knee deep for them in places so it was a bit of a novelty until they got cold

                  It's the first image that does it for me. The fog of the second one makes the distance subjects lack contrast or clarity, it would have been better of the fog was laying low and you could see over it, so it created a bit of atmosphere.
                  Within in my Billingham Hadley Large: Canon EOS 550D [Gripped], EF 50mm f/1.8, EF 85mm f/1.8 USM, Tamron 18-270mm Di II VC PZD, EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM, Kenko Teleplus DG AF Extension Tubes [36+20+12] and Speedlite EX430 II.

                  Redundant: EF-S 18-55mm lens f/3.5-5.6 IS II and EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS

                    Thanks Nancy and photostory for the input. In these kind of conditions you just have to make the best of what's in front of you .

                      Neither is my cup of tea in fairness, but the first is the better of the two for me. The light in the second looks awful, but I am viewing on a phone screen so if I'm misjudging it I apologise.

                            First is nice, and those rocks on the left hold the image together very well.

                              The first Image for me as well the second image is just too dark and lacking in detail.
