          Good spotting Ian. Nice view point. Like the colours in both but I like #1 better.

            Both well framed by the treed but the first is the better shot with a clearer view of the Alhambra (?)

                  I've been experimenting with shots like these but results so far are not worthy of sharing - unlike yours, Ian, which are rather nice

                  I actually prefer the second image as the forground shadow in the first I find distracting while the second is better lit overall and the path leads the eye nicely towards the buildings at the rear.

                          Number one for me Tigger. It would also look very dynamic shot in 720 nm infrared - have you got an old camera you could get converted ?
