    Nearly right

How hard would it have been to have the light tiles lead into the door ;o) .....

Really liked the textures on the tiles

    Re: Nearly right

I agree, aesthetically the light tiles should have led up to the door.
I wonder if it was deliberate or just not a consideration?

odd with the Spanish they normally plan things aesthetically like this - I can just see the planning meeting afterwards "OK WHO got this wrong " ( in spanish )

I did consider PSing it but WAY to much work ;o)

Maybe the light tiles point to something behind you Ian I recon they did it to fit in with the slab sizes, three wide at the bottom of the steps, then the diaganol laid tiles they are getting two triangular slabs from a full one IYSWIM.

Nice symetrical building though and looks like it has rained too, so it can't be Spain Is the church/catherdral on the right the one with the purple light?

great minds Peter ... I was thinking the same thing so looked at others taken pointing in the other direction and they line with nothing ....so just odd ;o)

As for rain!!! please Spain ;o).. no just shinny tiles and the processing I used to pull that up a tad more - it was the tiles and white line that first got my attention

No the purple light was another - theres no shortage of churches in Granada, or come to think of it any Spanish city ;o)

            Re: Nearly right

Does it really matter what the tiles line up with, or don't, (they actually line up between the windows and the wall at the side of the door, intentionally?, but does it matter)?
You have captured the texture and colour of the tiles very well Ian, I like it

                Super shot

as to the tiles, they do lead right through the image - they line up with the door pillar which in turn lines with what is presume a downpipe past all three stories
