    Bournemouth pier and beach

Just back from a few days in Bournemouth. On the one sunny day that we had I got up early to catch sunrise on the beach. As always, comments, thoughts and suggestions welcomed.

My thoughts too Alex, both lovely.

I'm off to Cornwall for a week next week and my plan is to get up early and stay out late. Drink may decide my movements though

John, Ian, Chris, Dave, Alan, Neil, James, Andrew, Tom, thanks all for your comments, really appreciated.
I agree no 1 is by far my favourite too, except for the ugly block of flats plonked on the cliff top. I had lifted the lighting on the beach huts, hopefully didn't make them too un-natural looking.
As to the early start, luckily the hotel was right next to the beach so I was tucked back up in bed soon after 6 and so back well before breakfast. And luckily my wife agreed the pics were worth it afterwards, despite the raised eyebrow and little shake of the head when I said what I planned to do.

Thanks, Paul. I don't think that it is often you can get that view with no-one in it.
