On the roof of the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill-On-Sea.
Anthony Gormley's "Critical Mass" work comprising cast iron figures created from moulds of his own body. Form an interesting bit of urban landscape on the roof of the Pavilion -
And a couple of individual figures -
Actually, something rather strange happened with this exhibition.... We visited at opening time, 10.00am on a bright, sunny day and didn't warm to it. After exploring Bexhill and having lunch in the Pavilion (dressed Cromer crab - nice, but I don't think spring onion has any place in crab dressing...) we returned to the exhibition at 1.00pm and really rather liked it. 1.00pm BST is, of course, midday as far as the sun goes, so I assume our reaction was something to do with lighting and shadow.
Strange.
All 50D + 24-105L.
Cheers. Chris.
