          Really like the mood in this one. The tranquility of the overall scene, the threatening black rain clouds and the hint of a sunrise - will it rain or will it be a nice day? Guess it rained but still... Truly inspirational James!

            Thanks to everybody who looked and commented. I realise this is not to most people's taste as it has a minimalistic ' modern art' feel to it - but I like this style of photography partly because I find it hard to find suitable subjects to shoot.

                    Oh yes, I do like this, soft, understated , muted textures/tones and colours work a dream.

                      I have a hankering to lose most of the sky to just above the hills and concentrate on that fabulous foreground.

                      Still a fine image though.
