    Ferrybridge Power Station

    This iconic location has been on my todo list for a while, managed it last night.
    Both images taken from the same place and same body/lens combination (5DS+135mmf2) but 20 minutes apart.

    Both good Les but prefer the first with the more dynamic light trails

                    The first is Stunning the second in my opinion doesn't have the same impact

                        Les that's is a great composition in the first image, that's not to say there's anything wrong with the second but your first image is the stronger one. Well done for reducing your to do list

                          First for me too. The steam trails against the pink sky really are fantastic, not that the rest isn't of course

                              Les, not going to go against everyone else on this one, both nice but the first wins it for me: more distinct light trails, the bonus of a blue light to add interest, the left hand carriageway lights are all red, the lighter sky silhouettes the stacks better, the steam is more prominent. That all said, I do like the lighting on the chimney in the second, so it does have something going for it...
