    Farmstead

As I was driving to Clinton, NJ for a dental appointment, I decided to take the back roads. Saw this farmstead and stopped to take a couple of images.

Sorry to say Tom that the building is rather lost being white on a white background

Probably a bit too much bland sky - think it would look better to lose around two thirds of it

I do like high key too but how about pulling those buildings back a little and trying a 16:9 crop?

                    Re: Farmstead

Tom, I quite liked the first, it had a simplistic 'pen and ink' feel that I rather liked. But the second trumps it with that strong fence providing a lovely line of detail and extra interest. Slightly deeper graduation in the sky helps too.
