          I quite like this James but although there looks to be a great carpet of bluebells, they are rather overtaken by the amount of green foliage

              We all the offerings of bluebells lately, I'd like to know if we are too early? When do they hit their peak and really cover the forest floor?

                  I can only speak for the Worcestershire area but they appear to be at their peak just now

                      Lovely, James. I really love how the eye is drawn both to the left through the trees and to the right up the bank.
                      I too was in a local bluebell wood over the weekend, and in my mind's eye this is how my images would have come out. Sadly (and inevitably) they haven't, which is frustrating but your images always inspire me to keep trying.
