Could Ian have resisted the closed doors?

This was in Menorca last week. An abandoned prison in a Fort above Mahon. I did think of Ian and whether he would try to get inside but the doors were securely closed. What was left of the roof looked very unsafe!

Beautiful building to explore and photograph. I'm with Ian, there has to be a way inside, the only problem is, who else is inside.

Cheers Ian - there may have been a way in - but I'm not sure there would have been a way out!

Good question Tom. We were the only ones there - or perhaps we weren't...........

Nice image I'd have liked to appreciate all the lovely texture and detail on Flickr though.

              Cheers,

Thanks John. I always find the images look better on FLICKR. I always copy across the BBCode and never directly upload to the forum but images still look better on FLICKR.

Wow what a fabulous building. Great shot that mate.

You clearly need one of Ian's special keys

only just spotted this on flickr (Have had no internet now for 5 days as our Menorcan server has a major virus so have to sit in cafes checking important stuff.)
La Mola is a pretty amazing place although baking hot at this time of year. They really don't want you going in this building although there are other places - miles and miles of corridors and dusty old rooms to explore with the occasional startled pigeon.
Next time I go I'll take Tiggers Magic Key if he'll lend it to me.......
Canon EOS R5, R6 plus the usual suspects ......
