    Otley sunsets

    Two from the other evening, both with Canon 5Ds+16-35 F4L, second image +10stop ND filter.

    Impressive and well captured light show but I think I'd have preferred the foreground shadows lifted a little.

          I like the first shot with the guy adding to the scene but as said shadows need a lift

          The second does not work for me, the long exposure making the sunset look really odd

            I do find the first the stronger of the two for rock and the watcher on top.

            Second I'm less sure about, a long exposure sunset is different and it actually reminds me of the original Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea film where the vanAllen belt catches fire... Maybe a little more light on the foreground rocks wouldn't go amiss as the image feels a bit bottom heavy.
