    On the Tamar Discovery Trail

Something different for today's dog walk. Took the little train to Bere Alston and followed some less frequented footpaths and a quiet road along the Devon side of the Tamar back to Bere Ferrers (which is on the Tavy) where we had lunch and got the train home.

Stuck in the Mud Shamrock used to run between here and Morwellham a little further up the river and Plymouth. It's a museum piece on the Cornwall side of the river at Cotehele Quay which is owned by the National Trust.

Waiting for Noah We only went in the pub at Bere Ferrers, not the church!

Assuming that it is low tide for all these boats to be out of the water. The composition on the 2nd image works well, although if you crop off the bottom to where the left bottom corner meets the water would improve the image a bit.

Very nice Wayne, second shot wins it for me - lovely composition.

another vote on the second but I'd lift the shadows a tad to pull a little more detail from the church

I prefer the first but in both the shadows could do with a bit of a lift
