    In Flanders Fields

This is one of a number of memorial displays that people and artists in the local community have created. This display is adjacent to Nunthorpe War Memorial at the side of the A172, it is certainly getting a lot of attention with plenty of cars stopping and people taking time to look and admire it.
I think I may previously have posted the previous years display at this site on the forum. This years displays are IMO much better than the previous years.
This image is actually a seven exposure panorama, for anyone who wishes to see a larger version there is one on my website.

An impressive sight Peter, well taken. I wasn't aware of this, not seen it advertised locally.

Thanks Bill, I believe the willow figures were only put in place yesterday. There has been some social media posts about the displays.

That is a very fitting and poignant memorial. Thanks Peter for taking the time and trouble to share it.

Very nice and very fitting to those who gave so much in conflicts over the years - Let us remember them, there's a few I can't forget
