    Lincolnshire Fields

I took these during a very uneventful walk and then we notice the sky changing and rain in the distance. I played with the blending PS modes and filters to increase the contrast, colour and texture of the sky. I quite like them - hope you do too.

I really like #2 ... it's the solitary tree that makes it IMvHO. #1 ain't bad either. Thanks for them.

Good capture Graydon. I like both, but #2 for me. Shots like this showing the beauty and wonder of nature are one of my favourites, and you're caught a really good couple of shots there.

Would #2 look even better with more space to the right of the tree (if there's more of the shot available), to bring the tree onto the 3rd line?

              all the best, Mike.

They are both very special, really dramatic, big skys classic Lincolnshire, its also another really impressive image from the sigma 10-22mm, thats the second post this week where this lens has excelled.

I like them both but no: 2 stands out for me, the light and sky just makes it a great photo, well done.

Thanks guys. I love the big skies.
Mike, yes you're right it would have made it a little more pleasing. Now I'll have to go back again :) but will the sky be so accommodating?
MX... I have a few solitary trees I like to shoot through the seasons, but this one doesnt present itself as well as the others; it was really about the sky this time.
Ray, I used to have an Oly E3 and 9-18mm so had to get something similar when I moved to Canon. I could only afford the Siggy 10-20, but it seemed to get many good reviews and after buying it I have had no reason to complain - quite the opposite.
                    Thanks for looking :)
