I think the people are lost in the image. By cropping a bit off the bottom making the image more of a letterbox format improves it.

Like it...god those blues are vivid.
Personally I would crop into a pano with the shingle comming out of the RHS corner which turns the shingle and water into 2 'V' shapes..let us know what u think of the idea..it may be just be me thinking horliks again

Try a 16:9 aspect ratio - this would make a fabulous wallpaper!!

I would do the crop off the bottom

I agree, too much shingle, a panoramic shot should work.
