Thanks for your comments - I have to admit I have cropped the original image a little to take away some distracting stuff. I am also thinking I should try to darken the light on the rocks a little as they are blown out.

The long way round from Nelson to Picton. Facing the other way there's a wonderful bay.

I love this picture with the deep greens and blacks against that silky water. Very typical of the west and north coast forests, just needs a fern to make it sing 'NZ'.
