    Nice one. Is it worth pulling back those 'blown out' paving slabs a little?

      thanks Tony - I did consider that when processing the shot but I liked the way the slabs go from dark to light leading you into the shot ...be interested in what others think

        Great shot but agree with Tony that highlights could be pulled back a bit.

          OK I had a look again and a little play and pulled the highlights back on the path - I still wanted to have the dark to light, so think I've still got it without the blown highlights - I've edited the original posting

          Better guys ?

                Hmm tricky but prefer the original. But perhaps tinge the highlights with a bit of yellow to mimic the sun casting across the slabs?

                      Yep first version looks better, the bright area draws the eye into the image. Though to be honest if I'd not seen the first the second would have still been a good shot.

                      Just goes to show you can't always decide.
