    Very nce scene

    Was there any way to frame without the mooring poles in the foerground so there was a clear view of the gondolas and church ?

      Thanks for looking Stan, l wanted the gondolas in the picture, and this view of the church, so was limited in my position for taking the picture,
      there are lots of gondolas in Venice but none where l wanted/needed them to be.
      There was no walkway alongside the poles where l might have been able to walk, they were simply to moor the gondolas, and the gondoliers walked onto their boats to release them.

        I kind of like the poles but I agree it makes it harder to get clean shots of the images you frame up in your minds view. When we were there I got a clean shot of the church from one of the ferries on the Grand Canal but it doesn't have any gondolas
