    Windmill - Isle of Wight

Whilst in Bembridge on the Isle of Wight we went to the windmill. Fortunately you could get a good view without paying to go inside, which was quite expensive!

There are a couple more on Flickr if you have an interest in windmills!
As always your comments and feedback are appreciated.

Thanks Paul, it was difficult as the day was so cloudy and grey. I was happy how they turned out.

I think the first one works really well with the lighting and grumpy sky, well done.

It was a good holiday, although the weather was not as kind as we had hoped.
Your idea is interesting, I left the bench as foreground interest. But I might and see if I can clone it out and see what a B&W version looks like.

had it been clear sunny days you wouldn't have had some of those stunning clouds you've had in most photos ... least it didn't rain by the looks of things

Thats true, and its helped me develop my Lightroom processes. I am certainly expert but am feeling much more confident after doing all the holiday pictures.

thats more like it but I think with the B&W conversion its gone a bit under, least for me - I hope you don't mind I had a quick tweak - lost the fence as well ;o)

No problem Tigger, that is a better conversion.
I am still getting to grips with B&W so will have another look at mine in light of what you've shown.
