I had a particularly significant birthday a couple of weeks ago, and was very fortunate that my family took me away for a few days at Cliveden, actually staying in Spring Cottage, where Stephen Ward was living during the Profumo affair.

Grateful as always for comments and suggestions, although not to go back and re-take. Lovely as it was my wallet wouldn't stand it...

why didn't you say it was your twentieth birthday

some cracking shots there Alex - well done, the tigger shot is becoming a standard her and I'd say you've done well ...for some reason I'm pulled towards the last boat shot, that really works

Thanks, Ian, really appreciated. Hmmm, if only I was 20 again. But then again, when I was 20 I had never heard of HDR and so wouldn't have been able to capture anything like the images I did manage.
Oh, and I'd never heard of the 'Tigger doorway shot' either; glad I managed to get one in.

When I saw the title I started to search the memory bank, but of course, ward, Keeler and Mandy Rice-Davies. All good but I really like th boat shot - superb.

Truly inspiring Alex, thank you. Very difficult to choose a favourite, but I am drawn to the chair and boat shots.
