    Insects from Rainham Marshes

All shot handheld (as usual) with the 100mm 2.8 IS - wasn't sure if I should post these here or the small animals area.

#1 - 1/800, f/3.2, iso100 - lying on the floor to get the sunlight through the shell 'no one else home'

    #2 - 1/60, f/5, iso100

    #3 - 1/100, f/8, iso100 - munching wood sap

    #4 - 1/400, f/5.6, iso100 - taking a rest

    #5 - 1/800, f/2.8, iso1000 - translucent coat

    #6 - 1/800, f/3.2, iso500 - wrapping up a crane fly for lunch

Thanks for looking - comments as always are appreciated.

            Very good set David
I find #1 interesting, very interesting. Although the snail is OOF the attention is on the shell which I think is very cleverly done. I really like that because it's different.
            All are very good.

Thank you kind sir - Stuck out for me because of the 'veins' in the shell, never really noticed them before.
